The Peak District has a huge variety of walking in all sorts of country. For convenience we have divided the walks on the
web site into four categories, though in practice these categories overlap to some extent. Click on the icons to open each section.
Take to the tops of the gritstone country in the north of the Peak. They can be rough going and exposed to the elements, but with fine views.
Moorland and Valley
These routes take the moorlands and the valleys to give mixed walks with a variety of scenery.
Routes in the Limestone Dales, mainly in the southern Peak. Mostly quite sheltered with lush vegetation.
